Obituary of Julia Howard Walker

Entered peacefully into eternal life Friday Feb 18, 2011. Mrs. Walker was born in Bolingbroke, GA. on July 27, 1925 and re-located to Rochester in her early 20s. She chose the city as her home and Aenon Baptist as her church and she was set for the rest of her life. She established a successful catering/ domestic-care business soon after her arrival and continued to purse that passion until her recent retirement. Mrs. Walker, sometimes referred to as Julie by her work associates, had seven children: Mary Helen (predeceased) Henry, Patricia, Janice, Gary (predeceased), Timothy and Thomas. She was further blessed with 14 grandchildren, 20 great grand children and 7 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, "Clarence Walker" of CA and Lewis Driskell of MI. and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives throughout the US. Mrs. Walker was very outgoing person and had a host of friends throughout community and a large loving spiritual family including those at Aenon Baptist Church. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
