I feel blessed to have known Julia for over thirty years. She blessed and enriched the lives of all the people she touched. She loved her family and would talk with great pride about all of you.She was proud of your accomplishments. She would share pictures of the grandchildren and great grandchildren with me. She was always there for my family and truly cared about us. She was there when my beloved son died and ten years later when my husband died. When Gary passed we had many discussions about them being in a better place and the precious memories we both had.I remember her 80th birthday party and how beautiful she looked in her pink dress, matching scarf and hat. But, most of all seeing the entire family take such joy in the celebration. Yesterday's celebration of life was a magnificant tribute to an amazing woman. Her legacy will continue on through all of you. I was touched and moved by Henry's stories, Janice's poems,Patti's, Tommy 's, and Timmy's words and of course the grandchildren. Due to the weather, I regret that I was unable to express my condolences in person on Friday and tell you how much she meant to our family. God bless you all, Peggy Cherkasky P.S. I would like to make a contribution in memory of your beloved mother. Is there any particular fund at the church that was meaningful to her?
