A poem written by her eldest Son with inspiration channeled by his mother Constance’s spirit:
From the early days to the last,
I taught you well.
So, remember all the life lessons:
Do your chores, then enjoy your play.
Whatever you do, do it your best,
for a second chance may not come.
Educate yourself with diligence.
Read for understanding.
Do what you love,
and love what you do.
Look after family, be charitable and full of joy,
Give, give, then give some more!
Cherish your friends and nurture good relationships,
and they will always be there for you.
Be kind to your neighbor,
and teach them to be neighborly too.
Don't be afraid to express your inner child,
for your gift to the world is your authentic self.
Fiercely protect your heart, mind and soul,
for these make up your living compass.
Laugh, laugh, then laugh some more!
Rejoice with the spirit that guides.
Hold fast and true, there's only one of you.
Love, love, then love some more!
Remember, in matters of the heart,
there are no rules;
so follow your heart's desires.
In the toughest of times,
talk to me, yes, talk to me,
for I am still with you.
So, until we all meet again,
remember, remember,
my spirit remains in you.
I taught you well.

Gone From Us - Author Unknown
Gone from us that smiling face,
The cheerful pleasant ways,
The heart that won so many friends,
In bygone, happy days.
A life made beautiful by kindly deeds,
A helping hand for others’ needs.
To a beautiful life,
Comes a happy end,
She died as she lived,
Everyone’s friend.

I'm going to miss you, Aunt Connie.
When I was with Aunt Connie, I was surrounded with creativity, art, elegance and love.
Aunt Connie sent me a card that said,
"The peace in one's heart is a small start for peace on earth."
The ones we love are never gone, they live within our hearts.
Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs.
