Obituary of Hannah Newsome

Peacefully, December 26, 2005 at age 94. Mother Newsome was one of the founding members of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church as well as a gospel singer, and social activist. She leaves cherished memories to her sons, Lacey (Minnie) Lewis of Gainesville, FL, Wade (Joan) Davis of Henrietta and Billy (Jane) Newsome of Albion, NY; 35 grandchildren including her devoted granddaughter whom she lived with for 14 years, Jean (Greg) Henderson; 48 great grandchildren, 83 great-great grandchildren, and 3 great-great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
