I'm saddened to learn of the passing of a beautiful woman - Mother Addie Carey. She was a strong anchor of the Goodwill Baptist Church and I will always cherish the memories of her gospel-soul stirring voice, her Sunday Morning Fashion Flair, her organizational abilities, her fearlessness to take a stand (church business meetings), and her ability to "work it out" in the kitchen! Sis Carey, your labor was not in vain; you now have "Somewhere to Lay Your Head"!
