Obituary of Roy Easter

At age 28. Mr. Roy Easter was born February 2, 1978 in Rochester, NY to Mr. and Mrs. Leroy and Judy Easter. He was the second of three children in the family. He attended schools #19, Monroe Middle School, Wilson Magnet, and Marshall High School. After high school he found employment with Delta Sonic Car Wash, ADT, and Syracuse Glass Company. In addition to these various positions, Roy also purchased and sold cars. As a child, Roy took an interest in martial arts. His involvement continued throughout his life and he was able to achieve the black belt level. Roy attended Sunday school and church service at New Bethel CME Church from time to time. His hobbies include playing cards and spending time with his family and friends. Anyone that knew Roy knew that he was a jokester and had a smile that would light up a room! One of his greatest desires was to visit Las Vegas. In March of this year Roy and his family were able to make that wish a reality. They took a remarkable one-week vacation to Vegas! Having departed this life on the morning of Tuesday, July 4, 2006, Roy leaves cherished memories to his parents, Leroy "Sam" and Judy Easter; daughter, Kiyana (and Kiyana's mother, Takiyah); his sisters, Wanda and Shante; grandfather, Benjamin Wilson; and a host of other relatives and friends. Roy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Estelle Easter and his maternal grandmother, Alberta Wilson. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
