Please share a memory of Inger to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Inger Nicole Shaw was born February 21, 1971 in Jessup, Georgia to Veronica L. Shaw and Leroy Lawton. Shortly after her birth, her mother and grandmother, Dorothy Shaw, relocated to Rochester, NY. Inger received her early education in the Rochester City Schools. She attended #17 School, Charlotte Middle School, and was a graduate of Franklin High School. After her graduation from Franklin, Inger continued her education at West Virginia State University and Monroe Community College where she earned an Associates degree in Business. Her education and skills led her to secure management positions with CompUSA and Circuit City. She relocated to Mishawaka, Indiana for a short while returning to Rochester to be near her family when her health began to digress. Inger was a caring, loving, and gentle person. She looked at people through the lens of her heart and you could feel her care and concern just by looking in her eyes. Inger Nicole Shaw entered into rest on Friday, June 29, 2007 at 7:21AM at Strong Memorial Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, Veronica L. Shaw and Leroy Lawton, she will be forever cherished by her grandmother, Dorothy "Dot" Shaw; her brother, Roosevelt "Rowe" Roberts; two nieces; one nephew; and many other relatives and friends. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
