Margaret Eargle Woodard was born in Chapin, South Carolina August 12, 1916 to the late Elijah and Beatrice Eargle. At an early age she moved to New Rochelle, New York where she met and later married the late Mr. Marcus Woodard. The couple relocated to Bridgeport, Connecticut then later Buffalo, New York. Margaret's life's work was taking care of others. She worked with many families in New Rochelle, Bridgeport and Buffalo. When she retired she moved to Rochester, New York to be closer to her family. Margaret had a personality that embraced the world. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and garage sales. Having departed this life on Friday, July 20, 2007, Margaret Eargle Woodard leaves to mourn: one daughter, Helen Marie Paulk; a devoted granddaughter, Kim Paulk; grandsons, Ernest (Lizette), Mark, David, Martin (Cheryl) and Stephen Paulk; a host of great and great great grandchildren, other relatives and lifelong friends. Interment, Grove Place Cemetery.
