Obituary of Edward Wharton Brereton

Born July 14, 1928 in Georgetown, Guyana. Predeceased by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Alexander Wharton Brereton; Forever cherished by his wife, Cecilia; brother, Verney; sisters, Beryl, Norma, Joan and Shirley; brothers-in-law, Wolfgang and Kenneth; sisters-in-law, Maryanne (Gerry) Grossman, Simone (Al) Esnard, Monica (Stephen) Andree, Sylvia, and Rose Jules; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Eddie retired from Gannett Newspaper after 18 years of service. He worked as a printer, photo engraver, and also served as shop steward. Eddie was a devoted member of Masonic Lodge #426 with affiliations with the Northfield Lodge in Pittsford, NY, Damascus Temple and the Shriners.

Interment, Falls Cemetery, Greece, NY.
