Franklin was an Associate Minister at First Genesis Baptist Church, Professor at First Zion Bible College and Seminary, Supervisor at Delco and was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in Vietnam. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Bea; children, Kelsey (Deserey), Kevin (Stacy) Franklin and Tierney (John) Glover; grandchildren, Kalayah and Kelsey II "Deuce"; his mother, Ola Mae Franklin; brother, Tyrone; sisters, Sandura Martin and Faith Franklin; many other relatives and friends.
