Obituary of Debra Dudley

Rochester: May 22, 2008 at age 53.
Debra Louise Dudley was born to Verdell Dudley and the late Victor Brooks on January 10, 1955 in Syracuse, New York. She moved with her family to Rochester, NY in August 1963. She attended elementary and middle schools and graduated from Franklin High School in 1973. She earned an Associates degree in Business Administration from Monroe Community College (MCC) and continued her educational aspirations at Brockport State University earning a B.A. in Business and Accounting.
In her free time, she enjoyed cooking and baking. Her life's ambition was to open her own catering company. In February 2008 she won 3rd place in MCC's chili cooking contest, which she was very proud of. Debra was also an avid New York Knicks fan making sure never to miss a game, either in person or on television.
Debra was employed for 31 years with the Eastman Kodak Company, working in various departments. She recently embarked on a new position as a Buyer in the purchasing department Monroe Community College. Although her time at MCC was brief, she and her co-workers shared a special bond much like her tenure at Kodak.
Predeceased by her sister, Thelma "Red" Campbell and her nephew, Yosmain Ammons. Forever cherished by her children, Kimberly, Nicole, Andre Campbell and Daiquana Coles; her mother, Verdell Dudley; brothers, Jesse (Connie) Dudley and Leonard Bradford; sisters, Gwendolyn Miller of Detroit, MI, Stephanie (Lennoxdrick) Powell of Chesapeake, VA, Jannie, Sandra Dudley and Charlene Burroughs, all of Rochester; aunt, Leola Thrash of Sanford, FL;devoted friend, Edgar Smith; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Interment, Falls Cemetery, Greece.
