Obituary of Christine A. Henry

CHRISTINE A. HENRY was born February 10, 1947 to the late Ruby Lee Hill and
J. T. Handsford.
She attended Hutto High School in Bainbridge, Georgia, where she graduated in 1965.
Christine married the love of her life, Bobby G. Henry, Sr. and later moved to Rochester, New York. To this union, two sons were born, Bobby G. Henry, Jr. and Kevin P. Henry.
Although Christine was employed in a variety of positions, her main profession was at Nalge, where she worked for over 20 years and retired due to health problems.
Christine joined the Church of Latter Day Saints, and was a dependable and hard worker in the church until her illness prevented her from continuing. She was a lovable lady who cared about everyone and was always willing to help in any way she could. Her hobbies included bowling, playing softball, bingo and cards.
Predeceased by her loving husband and son, Bobby G. Henry, Sr. and Jr.; sisters, Ruby Mae Burnett and Rosie Marshall; and brother, Richard Hill, Christine departed this life suddenly on November 26, 2014. She leaves to cherish her memory: her loving son, Kevin P. Henry; sisters, Rosa Mae Landy of Bainbridge, Georgia and Febby (Tyrone) Washington of Atlanta, Georgia; one brother, Reuben (Shirley) Hill, also of Atlanta, Georgia; five grandchildren: Asia Young, De'Juana Henry, Kevin P. Henry, Jr., Jaelin Henry and Christion Henry; five step-grandchildren: Daryl Wilson, Porcha Mizell, Zyaisha Mizell, Marquis Wilson and Anthony Banks; one daughter-in-law, Barbara Henry; two stepsons, James Good and Bobby Good; a special nephew, Charles Butler; special friend of the family, Cheree Young and best friend of 49 years, Anne Tanksley, all of Rochester, New York, along with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
