Obituary of Annette Rodgers Rouse

Please share a memory of Annette to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
"I enjoy working with the Urban League and the Black Scholars Program because truly knowledge is empowerment. I consider this program as a "garden". Some will take longer than others, some wont make it, but we must give all of them the opportunity. We must cultivate this garden or there will be nothing to harvest. The more than 100 volunteers that work with me during the course of the year makes it all happen. My life has been blessed by the opportunity to serve as I have, and if I help just one person then my living will not have been in vain." ~Annette Rouse Annette Rodgers Rouse, was born on September 15, 1951 in Eufaula, Alabama.
