Cheyenne-you may not remember me but I worked with your mom at Nextel. She was the one that started calling me Susie-Q and it seemed it caught on. We had many of laughs and good times. Val had a smile that would light up a room. I'm proud to call her my friend. She was very proud of you and I'm truly sorry for your loss. God Bless!

Lester, I have no words that will console you at this tragic time in your life nor can I say I know your pain. All I can tell you is that I'm here if you want to talk. Valerie was truly a special lady and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. She leaves her most precious creation in your loving care knowing Cheyenne will keep her alive in your memory as long as you live. God's plan for us is sometimes harsh and cruel but Valerie is at rest now and free of pain. Time with CC will see you through this loss. I'm here for you and I love you Lester!

I was truly saddened to hear of Val's passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to the entire family.
I had the pleasure of knowing Val for the past 12 years thru work. She was the smiling face at Nextel and was such a comedian. I know I stopped in to see her even when I didn't need my phone fixed because I knew she would make me laugh.
Even when Val found out she was sick she still had her chin up high and kept the jokes flowing.
I know God has big plans for Val.
My best to you all and keep faith in knowing Val is in a better place. :)
