Mother Barnes is preceded by her husband MC Barnes Sr., sons, Joe Thomas "Pete" Myers and MC Barnes Jr., and grandson, Julian Harris. She is survived by her daughter, Annie "Marie" Barnes-Harris; son, Darwin; grandchildren, Romunda "Rhonda" (Zenas) Harris-Fonville, Derrell Harris, Marie "Lea" (Richard) Barnes Weathersby, Jason, Lamar and Dianna Barnes; and a host of other relatives.

Additional services and interment Friday, May 1 in Prentiss, MS.
