Hi Leon, it is Cheryl from Gates Pub!!! I am writing to you because I was just informed this past week of Mary's passing in June. I regret that I was not aware at the time. I have fond memories of the pumpkin pies and especially the sweet potatoe pies she sent me every year for my family at Christmas time when I was at pub. I think everytime you called home you also gave me the pleasure of speaking with her. Remember when I used to drive Brandi to work I would cut down your street and wave to her in the morning when she was receiving kids? I just wanted to let you know how very saddened I was and so terribly upset that I was not with you at that time. I am sure Mary is close to your heart and will keep your memories alive forever. To the family and dear friends, I will truly miss Mrs. Mary Hanna Burrows whom I first met when I came aboard ABC Head Start in April 1993. I can hear her now, clicking the stelettos and wearing those tight fitting cute dresses and her blonde wig her(signature).
