MRS. MAG MITCHUM BOOTH, daughter of Willie and Annie Mitchum, was born in Kingstree, South Carolina on September 20, 1936. She later relocated to Rochester, New York where she was employed by the Rochester City School District for many years. She met and married her soul mate, Charlie Booth. They were marred for 39 years. Mag was an affectionate and loving sister. She always had a shoulder to lean on and many words of wisdom. She was a friend to everyone she met. Mag was predeceased by: her parents, Willie and Annie Mitchum; brothers: Willie James and Ed Mitchum and sister, Mazzie Sinkler. Having departed this life on August 8, 2009 she leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Charlie Booth of Rochester, NY; 6 sisters: Rosa Lee (Robert) Poinsette of Kingstree, SC, Juanita (Sylvert) Jean of Philadelphia, PA, Gail (Teddy) Brantley, Lydia Bellamy, Bobbie (David) Ellis and Diane Mitchum, all of Rochester, NY; 2 brothers-in-law: Johnny (Leona) Booth of Rochester, NY and Lonnie Booth of Belleglade, FL; 2 sisters-in-law: Gussie Booth of Rochester, NY and Minnie Sistrunk of Belleglade, FL; Godmother, Thelma Herd; nephews, nieces, cousins, her Baber AME Church family and friends. Interment, Riverside Cemetery (Section A, Lot 175, grave #4)
