Forever cherished by his wife, Effie "Pansy"; sons, Melvin and Lydell (Christian) Rogers; daughters, Alisa Rogers, Renee (James) Judkins, Sonya (Darren) Floyd of NC, and Paris Rogers; 20 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; brothers, Willie Jr. (Josephine) and Eddie (Shonice); sisters, Margaret (Johnny) Johnson, Helen Lawson, Shirley Johnson of Trenton, NJ, Margie (Sam) Roundtree, Geneva Dukes and Jesse (Neal) Ratliff; a host of other relatives.
