Rochester: December 4, 2009 at age 28 after a lifelong and courageous battle with sickle cell. Survived by his mother, Cora Bell; father, Wayne Jones; stepfather, Derek Floyd, Sr.; son, Jayier; fiancé (& Jayier's mother), Amanda; brother, Derek Jr.; sisters, Karen, Patricia Butler, Precious Floyd and Shantae Davis; grandmother, Helen Lawson; aunts, Wanda Ashley and Jennifer Jones; uncles, Albert Jones Jr. and Paul Jones; and a host of other relatives.
