Survived by his wife of 30 years, Jean; sons, Houston III and Anthony (Destiny); daughters, Sharessa (Shondell) Kirton and Shannon Hughey; 12 grandchildren; brother, Dwight Hughey; sisters, R. Faye (Mitchel) Adams, Renee (Troy) McElrath, Trea Hughey and Fatina (John) Adams; mother-in-law, Thelma (Arthur) Gilmore; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
