Preceded by her stepsons, Walter Buie Jr. and Albert Rivers, Jr. Survived by her husband of 37 years, Albert; son, Shawn (Candace) Rivers of Chicago, IL; brother, John (Miriam) Hoover of Pittsburgh, CA; stepchildren, Betty Holley, Anthony and Patrick Rivers; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
