Yvonne, I have nothing but love for Harry Harris! I worked with him at Franklin HS and admired his character, laugh, guidance, love of children and his friendship to me. He was a gift to me as I began teaching so long ago. I am so sorry for your loss, and I am sure that you will find peace in knowing how many of us love him too, and will miss him. God bless you and your family. Cindy Ragus

Harry was the sweetest, kindest, most humane principal I ever had anywhere. When I had problems with a kid in my homebase who insisted I was racist, Harry took the kid right out---I think Harry was "color blind." The world needs more like Harry, but now the heavens are blessed to have him.

To the Family of Mr. Harris,
I am a former student who was deeply touched by Mr. Harris. He gave me the opportunity to succeed in high school, when I didn't even believe I had a chance to make it through. He was always kind, believed in his students and I am proud to have known him. I am so sorry to hear that he has left this Earth, but from the bottom of my heart, I am so glad he was here for awhile to make everyone who knew him feel special and important.
Again please accept my condolences at this very difficult time.

God has given us many special people in our lives, Harry "Leo" was truly one of a kind in our lives. His earthly presence graced our lives with his brilliance, humor and unending love for his family, friends and most importantly for his Savior and Lord. May Leo now enjoy the brilliance of his Heavenly Father in the presence of all those who went before him and were waiting to welcome him home.
To Yvonne, Alex, LaShawn and Lexi, Remember this is just a passing venue until you are reunited with Leo. Keep you eyes and hearts open and you will see and feel your loving husband and father everyday. Know how much you are loved by those surrounding you.
