This union produced Xavier Graham Toote. Emory attended "In Christ New Hope Ministries", where he gave his life to Christ. Emory was a loving husband, father, and "Grandpop". He loved having his grandchildren at his house, especially on holidays. He enjoyed fishing, swimming, bicycling and playing basketball with the neighborhood youth.
