Obituary of James McNair

MR. JAMES OTIS MCNAIR was born February 23, 1953, to the late Charlie and Maxine Mc Nair. He was married to the late Rhonda McNair, and to that union daughter was born. He spent a cherished 30 year partnership with Patricia Hemingway and raised one step-daughter. James spent a dedicated 38 years working at Highland Hospital as a Cook in the main kitchen. He is predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Maxine McNair and two brothers, Grady Charles McNair and Henry McNair. Having departed this life February 5, 2011, he leaves to share his memory: his companion of 30 years, Patricia Hemingway; one son, Jamie Cox; one daughter, Kelly McNair; three stepdaughters, Cassandra Hemingway, Janelle Durant and Chelsea McNair; three grandchildren: one brother, Jerome McNair of Cocoa Beac h, Florida; five sisters: Eldora Myricks of Massilion, Ohio, Catherine McNair of Ozark, Alabama, Nadine McNair of Daleville, Alabama, Gloria (Ernest) Johnson of Dale City, Virginia, and Dellee (John) Johnson of Ozark, Alabama and a host of dedicated friends and treasured family. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
