Rochester: January 31, 2012. Survived by her husband, J.W.; daughter, Shawnta (Sherman) Stubbs; son, Shawndell Pitts; 7 grandchildren; brother, Henry (Arlene) Pitts; sisters, Rita and Brenda Pettway; father-in-law, Theodore Roosevelt Thomas; many other relatives and friends.
Interment, Grove Place Cemetery.
