Obituary of Charles Jones

Charles Jones, Jr. was born February 18, 1947 in Valdosta, Georgia to Charles Jones, Sr. and Carrie Bell Jones. He moved to Rochester, New York in 1958, where he graduated from Madison High School. A veteran, Charles was drafted into the United States Army, proudly serving his country in Vietnam. On June 5, 1971, he was united in Holy Matrimony to Bobbie Jeanette Greene. This union was blessed with the birth of five children. Charles was employed as a Mental Health Therapy Aide at the Rochester Psychiatric Center, from which he retired after more than 30 years of service. One of Charles' greatest joys was caring for and being there for his family. On Wednesday, June 20, 2012, Charles departed this life and entered into eternal rest at his home in Rochester, New York. He leaves to cherish his memory and carry on his legacy of true love for family: his wife, Bobbie J. Jones; children: John P., David A., Eric D., Rebakah A. and Jessica L.; mother, Carie B.; two brothers, Charlie and Brayon; one granddaughter, Veronica A.; father-in-law, Willie Greene; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, other loving relatives and friends.
