Waldon (Cos) Costner was born January 6, 1931 to Waldon and Frances Costner in Rochester, New York.
He attended schools in Rochester and later became an engineer for Monroe County. He was married to Lolita (Betty) Costner and was the father of four children. He loved his family very much and often said that in his life, the best thing that ever happened to his was his wife and children.
Cos was a fan of many sports, especially basketball, football and gold, possessing quite a bit of knowledge pertaining to the history and players. He was an ardent jazz connoisseur and often traveled to concerts in the U.S. and Canada.
He loved to debate of anything with anybody and of course he always won.
Waldon was preceded in death by his sisters Florence Terrill and Jeanette McDonald.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Lolita Costner and children, Anita (John) Fritz, Norita (Jeanne) Brooks, Brian Dantzler, and son in law Calentha Ray Henry(Shelly, Departed); his brother, Arthur Costner. He also survived by eight grandcholdren and many great grand children, nieces, nephews and friends.
