Obituary of Mattie Cody

April 21, 2015 at age 92. Preceded by her beloved husband, TR Cody, in 2011. She will be forever cherished by many nieces and nephews, Georgia Hodge, Elaine Wilson, Sallie (Willie) Hamilton and Joe Parker Jr. of Rochester, Donna J. Flowers of Baldwinsville, NY, E. Doris Allen, Janice Thomas, Howard (Doris), Melvin (Louetta), Lawrence (Alice) Cody, Martha Norris, Mary Watkins, Johnny (Cora) Wilson, Leonard (Beverly), Gary (Darlene) and Willie (Dorothy) Wilson, of Atlanta, GA, the Thurman, Cody and Thomas families of Cincinnati, OH; other relatives and friends, including Leona (Edward) Clemons. A special "thank you" to the caring staff at St. Ann's Nursing Home especially the 5th floor personnel who attended Mattie in the final months of her life. Homegoing Service, Monday, 11AM (visitation will begin at 10AM), Memorial AME Zion Church, 549 Clarissa St. Rev. Dr. Kenneth Q. James, officiating. Interment, Falls Cemetery.
