Charles Henry Carvin was born on January 12, 1947, to Mary Alice Teasley and Leonard Carvin in Franklin County Georgia. He was the first of seven children. In 1965, he married Alma Butler and they later relocated to Rochester, NY. Charles and Alma had five children, as a result of their union. After retiring, he worked faithfully at Mount Olivet Baptist Church for two years, until his health started failing. Charles departed this life on May 2, 2015. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Alice Wheeler and his brother Herschel Teasley. He is leaving to cherish his memory, his long time friend and fiancé Mary Taylor, his children Charles (April), Tony (LaTina), Troycell (Kelly), LaTreshia and Kawanna Carvin. Mary's children James (Sherri), Bernard and Angela Taylor of Rochester, NY. Four brothers Roger (Carolyn) Neal of Toccoa, Georgia, Roy, Richard and Perry (Anissa) Wheeler of Rochester NY. One sister Tonia Wheeler of Albany, NY, 22 Grand children, 6 Great Grandchildren and one Aunt Roberta Wiley of Carnesville, GA. A host of Nephews, Nieces, cousins and friends.
