March 13, 2017 at age 83. Preceded by her husband, Chester and grandson, Johnny Ray Johnson. Forever cherished by her sons, Harry, Chester, Larry, Gary and Van; daughters, Lentory, Harriett, Barbara, Paulette and Voncil; 3 generations of grandchildren; her sisters, Lula and Freddie Mae; brothers, George, Dave, Benjamin, George III, Ivory and James Thompson; many other relatives.
Celebration of Life, Saturday, 12PM (visitation will begin at 10AM), St. Luke & St. Simon Cyrene Church, 17 S. Fitzhugh St. Interment, Mt. Hope Cemetery.
