Ms. Sarah Deason, 83, of Rochester New York, transitioned to her heavenly home on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

Ms. Deason was born July 2, 1939, in Townsend, Georgia; the daughter of Frank Deason and Edna Mae Dingle. In her early years, she played high school varsity basketball.

She was employed at Harris RF Communications, Eltrex Industries, and worked at Eastman Kodak until retirement. She was also a New York State cosmetologist and a seamstress. Ms. Deason enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Bacon; and two sisters, Lessie Mae Jackson and Doretha Pickeney. She leaves to forever cherish her memory, two children, Beverly and Ta'Nita Deason; one granddaughter, Sarahia Gadson; and two great-grandchildren, Zanovia and Jeremiah Garcia of Rochester New York; her sister Georgetta (Joseph) Armstrong of San Antonio, Texas; special niece Yvonne Thomas of Jacksonville Florida; Orlando who would assist her daily in her golden years; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
