Maria J. Marin was born March 19, 1938 in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to the late Arcadio Marin and Monserrate Martinez.

After moving to the United States, Maria became a housewife as she enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her family. She fell in love with cooking at a young age and could often be found making special meals for everyone. Maria was also had a green thumb and was great at planting. She especially loving working and fellowshipping at her church.

Maria departed this life on Sunday, October 2, 2022. Predeceased by her husband, Joseph Carrisquillo and son, Hector Carrisquillo. She leaves in love, 2 sons, Joseph and Robert Carrisquillo; 2 daughters, Marisol Carrisquillo and Analisa Marin; 19 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; 3 brothers, Marino (Miriam), Jacob and Jose Marin; 3 sisters, Primitiva Martinez, Midialia, Canda and Domitila Marin; and many other relatives and friends.
