Dione Tre’von Brunson was born on February 4, 1993 to Evette and Tralis Mathis and raised by Gerald Harris (step father). He is the eldest of two children. Dione attended Fredrick Douglas High School.

Some of his hobbies include grilling, video games, hanging out with his “700” friends and spending time with his family which he treasured more than anything.

We know Dione was outspoken to some and quiet with others and he never had a problem telling you what he wanted you to know! Dione was no stranger to the Lord and his word. As a child he loved to walk around the house with a microphone imitating his Pastor, Rev Smith. As a member of Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church, he played basketball with the church team in the Christian Youth Basketball League. He also played football for the Baden Street Bulldogs.

Dione was predeceased by his mother, Evette Brunson; grandfather, Joseph Brunson; and his great grandmother, Mattie Nathan.  He leaves to Cherish his memory his beloved daughter, Promise Brunson, whom he loved whole heartedly; grandmother, Peggy Brunson; sister, Destinie; niece,  Xoey Brunson; aunt, Evonne Brunson; cousin, Deveion Brunson; step-father, Gerald Harris; great grandfather, Clarence Nathan. Dione also leaves special cousins, his “favs” Lashon Nathan Jr., Fivvian Jackson, and Kiesha Jackson; his “Grill Teacher”, aunt Val; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
