Obituary of Morris D. Cooper
Morris Darrell Cooper began his journey in life on April 18, 1951. He was the son of the late Rufus Demar Cooper and Minnie Bowser Cooper Knight.
Morris was always willing and able to help with whatever needed to be done. He knew no stranger, and everyone loved him. He always had a smile for everyone, and his heart was as good as gold.
He departed this life on July 8, 2022 at Rochester General Hospital. Predeceased by his step father, Cleophus Knight; brother, Rufus Demar Cooper; sister, Helene Cleo Knight; and the love of his life, Georgia Ann Hobby. Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Monica (Frank) Denmark and Artie Mae Hobby; grandchildren, Ashleigh, Ahmad, Roger and Alexander; great granddaughter, Ahmirah; sisters, Vera (James) Nicholson and Minister Emma (Charlie) Hall; nephew, Hollis Wilfred (Ginny) Burke III; close friend, Leroy Carter; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
