George was the proud and loving father of Master Markese Murphy. He is survived by his wife, Shawn Woods-Murphy; parents, Mr. George Henry Murphy, Sr. of Sanford, Florida, & Ms. Vinie M. Miller-Murphy; sisters, Mrs. Lisa Y. Bostick (Vernon Sr.) & Ms. Cassandra I. Murphy, of Atlanta, Georgia; nephew, Vernon Bostick, Jr.; niece, Diamond Bostick; as well as a host of uncles, aunts, & cousins, from Florida, Georgia, and New York. His family and friends knew him as a kind and mild-mannered gentlemen.
