I was the travel agent for the church for a long time.
Your mom and I became great friends. Had lots of laughs when we spoke to each other and when we saw each other.
I was soooo sad to read of her passing..
Sending you lots of payers during this difficult time.

Sending my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Annie Ruth Gamble-Chatman. Remember, when the bridge over grief seems shaky and long, look up. Remember the view and beauty around you. There is a world of wonder still to discover. Keep walking and moving forward. Soon you will find yourself on solid ground again.
Annie My Friend: I was worried about trying to reconnect with Annie Ruth, for I had not seen or heard from her in over 50 years. While I wondered if I would remember her well enough to spend an entire weekend with her, my biggest fear was trying to remember the 16-year-old we were back then in SC. Those fears dissipated when we had a chance to chat by phone in 2017. We shared pictures of ourselves and, yes, old memories came back. Finally, September 2018, I had the distinct privilege of visiting with Annie in Rochester, NY. We had a wonderful time reminiscing about old times. Following that visit we talked at least three times a week. Our last chat was on February 14, 2022 (Valentine’s Day). One thing that stood out about Annie, she loved the Lord!! Annie, I will miss You my friend!!!!!!!! Dorothy Williams, Fort Washington, MD
