Survived by her husband, Carl; daughters, Cheryl (Walter) Bowen and Jasmine Akins; grandson, Collin Williams; stepchildren, Deirdre (Darrell) Johnson of Atlanta, GA, Karen Akins of Wheatland, MD and Todd Akins of NYC; her Northside Church of Christ family, other relatives and friends. Homegoing Service, Saturday, 11AM (visitation will begin at 10AM), Northside Church of Christ, 634 Hudson Ave. Minister Jeffrey Walker, officiating. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
