Obituary of Robin L. Thomas

God called Robin Thomas, a beloved mother, educator
and friend to her rest on Monday, January 25, 2022.
Robin L. Thomas was born in Hurlock, Maryland to Jafers
and Evelyn Thomas on September 17, 1957. She was the
eldest of five children, as a child, Robin moved to
Rochester, New York in 1971.

Robin was a devoted employee of Rochester City School
District for more than 28 years. Her last assignment was
at School #45 (her second home).

Robin was a very gentle and loving soul with a beautiful
smile. She always went out of her way to help others. Her
passion was her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed
shopping and her job. Robin will be missed by all.

Robin leaves to cherish her memory: her parents: Jafers &
Evelyn Thomas; three sons and foster daughter: Demond
Thomas (Keith Williams), Akeem & JaVar Sims-Thomas
(Dale Sims) and Carlesha Gibson; seven grandchildren:
Tamere. Damani, Demond Jr, Dhmya, Shazell, Akeem Jr.
and Akemya; five siblings: Lisa Jones (Willie deceased),
Robert (Eunice), Kevin (Tyra), Tyrone (Bea) and Joseph
Walker of Florida; aunts: Sharon Jefferson of Hurlock,
Maryland & Willie Mae of Baltimore, Maryland; uncle
Sylvester of Florida; and a host of nephews, nieces and
cousins.

Special friends and family: Annie Collins, Kathy Stebbins,
Larry Bell, Diane Cummings, Antoinette Black.
