Obituary of Jimmie D. Walls

On January 17, 2022, God called Jimmie Dell Walls home to
shake hands with the angels that had gone on before him.
Jimmie will be greatly missed.
Jimmie was born September 17, 1946 in Moorhead, Mississippi
to the late Mason Walls and Catherine Logan. In 1955, the
family relocated to St. Petersburg, Florida with his late brother
Joe Ray, Jr. and late sisters: Lettie Mae Shaffer and Ellen James.
In 1964, Jimmie relocated to Rochester, New York with Lena
Griffin and Lewis Williams. Jimmie began his long-time career

as a professional auto body painter. A job that he was passion-
ate about and loved doing. Jimmie also took great pride in

becoming a security guard. Jimmie later retired. He was
baptized and became a member of the Aenon Baptist church.
Jimmie enjoyed music, spades, and he loved his Lincoln cars.
He loved riding motorcycles and a good home cooked meal.
Most days Jimmie would come and sit with his cousin Jerome
and the boys under the tree to enjoy the sun and reminisce
about funny stories from the past.
Jimmie was a warm-hearted, generous and a free spirit, who
lived a simple life. Jimmie appreciated the little things in life
taking it one day at a time. He always kept a positive attitude.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons: Jimmy Buntley,
Timmie Buntley and Ramon Davis; nephews: Dwayne Shaffer,

Willie C. James, Justin Ray; cousin Frankie and a host of grand-
children, friends, relatives, and long-time friend Jimmie Eaton.
