Obituary of Jermaine Darnell Green
Jermaine Darnell Green was born October 18,1974 in Rochester, NY to Jessie Green Jr. and Mary L. Green. Jermaine also known as “JAE-NICE” to his family and friends and entered into eternal rest on December 18, 2021.
Jermaine took an interest in music at a young age when his brother let him help on the radio show at a local college. He never let his love for music disappear. You could always find him making music, helping someone figure out their new equipment, recording, or making beats. Jermaine also had a love for his comic books and action figures which he collected.
Jermaine believed until his last day that family was everything to him while being the youngest. He leaves to cherish his beloved wife Tomeka Green, son Elijah Green, mother Mary L. Green, and mother in law Cathie McKenzie.
He loved all his siblings Iris Daniels, LeShawn Green, Chris S. Green, Crystal Green, Tonya (Paul Sr.) Moore. He also leaves to cherish a sister in law Michelle Smith and brother-in-law Da’Shawn Blocker.
The love he showed for his mother was out of this world. She taught him to be the loving and caring husband, father, uncle, brother, and friend. Over the years, Jermaine met so many people that became his friends and always wanted the best for him. His four close friends Cory L. Wilson, Keith Bryant, Alex Alvarez, Mike Williams Jr., became brothers to him. To all of his cousins, Jermaine always talked about the good times he had growing up with you all from the sleepover as kids, to family vacations and gatherings.
He is predeceased by his father, Jessie Green jr. and both sets of grandparents. He is survived by many uncles, aunts, nephew’s, great nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends. Please know that Jermaine love you all dearly!
