Gerald Tracy Jr., a.k.a. Jerry Tracy, is a native of Rochester, New York was Born January 24, 1934, and joined the angels on September 6, 2021. His companion and wife for 30 years, Dr. Bernadette Poole Tracy, is a native of Boston and long-time Rochester resident.
Jerry is preceded in Death by his parents, Jerry and Theresa Tracy; daughter, Beverly (Tracy) Luciano; step-son, Alexis Scott Poole, and mother of his children, Suzanne Cleriot.
His surviving family includes his Sister: Beverly (Tracy) Hendrick; Sons: Dr. Jerry Tracy III, (w. Holly) and Richard Teraci (w. Marsha); Daughters: Dr. Theresa Tracy, Suzanne (Tracy) Gunn (h. Dr. Andrew), Mary (Tracy) Brennan, Laura (Tracy) Brandon (h. Michael), Cynthia (Tracy) Cheroke (h. Stephen), and step-daughter Deborah Poole; Grandchildren: Rachel and Theo Johnson, Taylor and Ellie Brennan, Stephen Tracy, Zachary and Brody Cheroke, Christina Luciano, Imani, Daryl and Harold Barnes, Tanya and Kevin Brandon, and Beaux and Juliet Naegeli; Nephew and Nieces: Joey, Colleen and Christine Hendrick.
Jerry’s mainline profession was in real estate where he shone in sales, succeeded in property development, and excelled in commercial property management. He was active in politics and an avid pursuer of social justice. His children, however, will remember him most as an extraordinarily gifted guitarist; His wife, Bernadette, dittos that and adds, as a dedicated dad/grand-dad, and the most caring husband with whom a woman could be blessed.
