Obituary of Calvin A. Latimer

Please share a memory of Calvin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Calvin A. Latimer also known as “Cale” was born April 12, 1993 to Calvin Latimer and
Denise Williams. He was raised with his sister, Caltia Latimer in Rochester, New York.
Calvin attended Saint Andrew’s Catholic School. He graduated from the School of the
Arts in 2011 where he loved playing basketball and his saxophone. He always said he
aspired to play his sax like Najee. Following high school graduation, Calvin enrolled
at Monroe Community College where he majored in Computer Engineering
Technology. Calvin had a great sense of humor and was a true comedian with his subtle
way of making you laugh.

Calvin was a dedicated and beloved employee of Wegman’s Corporation for eight years.
His work excellence was recognized and was quickly promoted to Front End Manager.
Calvin loved his family and friends. He lived his life to the fullest. He had a fighting
spirit that never gave up even in the midst of adversity as he was faced with his
greatest challenge during his illness. He will be dearly missed by his family, friends
and his co-workers, but he will forever be in our hearts.

Calvin departed this life August 2, 2021. He was predeceased by his uncle Jerry Latimer
and great grandmother Essie Mae Bess. He leaves to cherish his memory: his father
