Obituary of Jacqueline Joseph
The bible teaches us that every person conceived in this world is a unique creation of God and that includes the disabled and the handicapped. God promises that disabilities and handicaps are temporary. Those conditions are
part of the fallen world NOT THE WORLD TO COME!!!
On February 14, 1953 our uniquely beloved sister was born into this world. Bestowed to the late Carlton Lonnie Sr. and Lorene Joseph, Jackie’s loving parents blessed her with seven siblings: Roslyn, who received her
heavenly wings on October 19, 2019, Carlton Jr., Gwendolyn [Tony] Glen, Gregory [Diedra], Calvin [Michelle], Brian and Yolanda Joseph.
Jacqueline enjoyed the love of her family and her residential family on Beckwith Road in Henrietta, New York. She loved exploring nature, shop-ping, music and musical instruments, watching special television shows in the gathering spot with her residential family. She loved Christmas and the smells of soul food that flowed throughout the house while voices filled the air with chatter and music played loudly. Celebrating her birthday was always a hit with beautiful large balloons and those sweet red strawberry filled cakes. Red was Jackie and Roslyn’s favorite color. Anything red, Jackie would snatch it up and call claim!
Jackie or” BIGIN” as she was affectionately called by family members, could not speak her words, but her big bright eyes told her story. I love you, I thank you, God bless you and so much more. Her moans spoke her story of determination, happiness and sometimes pain.
On July 1, 2021, God said “Take your rest and come on home. Where all is good, Where there is no more weeping in silence, no more feeding tubes, no more infections and days of high fevers, no more IV’s no more MRI’s and test after test, No more medical uncertainties and no more being wheelchair confined. Take my hand, my child and walk with me”. She leaves to cherish her memory six siblings and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins. The Beckwith staff and friends and her special earthly angel Mrs. Lola Williams, who loved and saw to her every need as promised to our mother. We are happy that you were here with us and yes, indeed we are sad that you are gone. But you are deep in our hearts and your spirit will always protect us. We cherish and honor your life and accept that you are happy at home with the LORD, Rest in God’s care our beloved sister until we meet again. You will always be in our hearts...Your Loving Family.
In Loving Memory
