Obituary of Kemel S Shephard

Mr. Kemel Shadar Shephard “Mel” was born on March 16, 1990 in Rochester, New York to Mrs. Angela Williams-Brown and Henry Shephard.

Kemel attended Monroe High School. He loved nature, running track, playing soccer and football. Kemel also loved dancing, making rap music and spending time with family and friends. After high school, he worked at Moe’s Southwest Grill in Henrietta, New York. He later relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Kemel Shephard entered eternal rest on March 9, 2021 at the University of Utah Health Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He leaves to cherish his precious memories, his parents Angela (Edgar) Williams-Brown and Henry Shephard of Rochester, New York; four brothers: Dominic Williams of Charleston, South Carolina, Tyreke Brown, Sha’Decio Shephard and Antwann (Emily) Brown all of Rochester, New York; his grandmother Annie Peterson, niece Amelia Brown both of Rochester, New York; a host of aunts and uncles: Nettie Biggins, Teresa Williams both of Thomasville, Georgia, Linda Rose of Boston, Georgia, Teresa Shephard, Regina Shephard and Joannette Trammel all of Rochester, New York, Tommy Williams of Boston, Georgia, Hubert Peterson, John Shephard and Rodney Shephard all of Rochester, New York along with a host of other relatives, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Alice Mae Biggins Williams. Kemel will truly be missed but never forgotten.
