Obituary of Anjanette C. Jackson

Anjanette (Angie ) Jackson was born April 14, 1971 in Rochester New York to the late Semmie N. Jackson, Sr. and Callie M. Jackson. She is predeceased by her grand - parents: Willie Jackson and Jessie B. Teal and Oscar Williams and Idella Golden; three brothers: Jarvis Williams, David Williams, and Semmie l. Jackson, Jr.; two sisters: Annie Mae Williams and Larhonda Jackson, one nephew Myron D. Williams.

At the age of 8 years old Angie was bap - tized at Bibleway Healing Assembly under the leadership of Dr. Eulah Mae Nelson. She was a part of the Bibleway Youth Choir. One thing we knew for sure was that she loved God.

As a child she attended No. 42 School, from there she went to Monica Leary Elementary, Burger Middle School, then she went to Rush Henrietta High School and in 1989 she graduated from East High School. In 1997, she attended Continental School of Beauty. In 2001, she decided to go back to school where she studied computer pro - gramming two years later she graduated on the dean’s list. In 2004, she started her career in home loans and finance. She spent 12 years with Chase Bank and retired in 2005.

For a short time she relocated to Norfolk, Virginia. Angie was a proud grandmother. All of her grandchildren loved their “Grammy”.

Angie was a strong woman and a fighter. No matter what came her way she fought every battle. She brushed it off and kept it moving and never once complained. She loved sitting in her bedroom or living room with her heated blanket, playing word games and slots machine games on her phone. Her hobbies included watching the ID channel - she would watch it all day! She made sure she watched the news, the masked singer and the voice. She loved spending time with her children Takeia & James Garfield and talking on the phone for hours with them, going to sit with them at their job. Angie loved her five grandchildren: Na’Veajah Owens, Harmoni, Jubray, Jacques, Jaiden and Kaiden Garfield they meant the world to her. She enjoyed when all her grandchildren were together. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Family was very important to Angie. She was definitely a cool grandmother and they loved her just as much. Angie shared a special bond with her nieces: Tasha & Misha, as well as her nephew Tyrone Williams.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories to her two children Takeia & James Garfield; five grandchildren: Na,vea - jah Owens, Harmoni, Jubray, Jacques, Jaiden, Kaiden and Garfield; three sisters: Judith A. Henderson of Quitman, Georgia, Sharron (Trevor) Johnson of Rochester, New York and Della (Rodney) Jones of Rochester, New York; three brothers: Michael (Susan) McMillian of Texas, Bobby (Johanne) Williams of Buford, Georgia and Todd Jackson of Norfolk, Virginia along with a host of nieces and nephews, aunts & uncles and cousins.
