Obituary of Loraine Fair
Please share a memory of Loraine to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Lorraine Fair passed away June 21, 2020 at the age of 63. She was born September 26, 1956 in West Memphis, Arkansas to her parents O.B. Fair and Georgia Halliard. In 1971 the family moved to Rochester, NY; and has resided in Rochester since. Lorraine graduated from Franklin High School Class of 1975. She was a devoted mother to her two sons. She worked at Kodak for twenty fours years; Unity Hospital for four years and Wegmans for twelve years. She loved football and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. Lorraine loved the singer Prince and she loved to dance. Lorraine will be greatly missed by all of us.
When her work was complete on earth, God said, “it’s okay give her back to me so I can comfort her and take her home.” I ask that we all say “Thank You” -- Thank you God, for giving her to us for just a little while -- she showed us your way and now have your way, all we ask is that you make her smile. She is not hurting, crying, suffering or sick anymore -- she did not quit; she did not give-up. You shined like a ferocious, fearless flame until you were down to the wick and ultimately became too sick. You fought your fight your way and you won your way.
She is survived by her two sons; Roi Childers Jr. and Aaron Childers, sister Linda Williams, Sister-in-law Stephanie Fair, Aunt Adlene Hilliard. Preceded by her Father O.B. Fair, Mother Georgia Hilliard, Brothers; Oliver Fair, Alvin Fair. She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and family and friends.
