I just found out about the passing of pastor Joan and it was initially upsetting to me but then I remembered her when she came to the gas station I worked at to hang a flyer on our window and it was a rainy day, but as she was talking to me the sun came out and she said "see David God is speaking to you the sun is shinning now." I knew then God was with her. Now, she is with God and filled with everlasting joy.
Please accept my sincere condolences of your loss. The void left by our loved ones falling asleep in death is immense. Death is an enemy that Our Creator never intended for us to ever have to deal with-even as the Bible says. May your family find comfort in the wonderful promise found at John 5:25-29. We all want to see an end to death, sickness, and pain. Soon, Our Creator promises to remove all causes of suffering. Until then may His promises bring a measure of comfort to your grieving hearts (2 Corinthians 1:3,4).
