Obituary of Sennie Pearl Smith

On Tuesday, May 19, 2020, Sennie Pearl Smith, passed away at the age of 77. She was born June 1, 1942, in Bainbridge, Georgia to John Henry & Sennie Mae Beard. Sennie moved to Rochester June 7, 1963. She worked for Kodak for 21 years until she retired in 2000. Sennie was a great cook who loved swim aerobics, bowling, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She will be forever remembered by her companion Willie Floyd Beard and her children Cheryl Ross (Emory Ross Jr), James Smith Jr (Cassie Smith), Loretta Ellis (Charles Ellis), Ronnie Smith, and Elnora Wilmer (Maurice Wilmer). She is survived by her sister Cheryl Cheatem, brothers Shane Beard, Dewey Beard, and John (Lois) Beard. She was preceded in death by her brothers Perry, Thomas, and Calvin. Sennie will be dearly missed by her 12 grandchildren; Shirita, Lolita, Marchell, Monique, James III, Jasmine, Shakeia, Davisha, Andre, Duane, Maurice II, and Iminii. She will also be missed by her 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
