Henry Lee (Hank) Daniels was born to Isabell and Jesse Lee (Jack) Daniels on March 20, 1935 in Greensville, Alabama. He attended St. Francis Elementary School and also Training School in Greensville, Alabama. He moved to Rochester, New York in 1951, and became employed at Eastman Kodak in 1954. Hank retired in 1986. He met and married Ruth Hayes in 1955, and was the father of nine children. Hank loved to play cards, fish, watch baseball, and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Ruth; daughters, Shirley Ann Hamilton, Sharon Hayes, Cynthia and Mary Daniels; sons, Houston (Dierdre), Ronald, Christopher, Willie, Jason Daniels, all of Rochester, NY; sisters, Mary Williams of Rochester, NY, Rena Van Bennett of Greenville, Ala., Jessie D. Turner, Julia Mae Crenshaw & Dazerine Long of Montgomery, Ala., Equilla Hightower of Fayetteville, NC, Carolyn Daniels of Atlanta, GA; brothers, William Paul Daniels of Las Vegas, NV, Jasper Daniels of Rochester, NY; two brothers-in-law, Lambert Bennett of Greenville, Ala., Major Price Jr. of Montgomery, Ala.; five sisters-in-law, twenty grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
