Obituary of Ocie Hall

Ocie Lee Hall, affectionately known as Jr., was born January 25, 1956 to the union of Ocie and Gloria Hall in Hughes, Arkansas. The family relocated to Rochester in 1957, where he attended school. In 1973, Ocie met Sylvia Franklin and on August 11, 1979 the two were married. Sylvia was known to us all as the Love of his life. To this union were born four children: Cynthia, Germell, LaToya and Gloria. Ocie was the patriarch of his family. He loved life. He enjoyed art, movies, jazz, and playing video games. As a family, we loved and adored Ocie. He will be greatly missed by us all. He leaves to mourn his passing: his faithful and devoted wife of 26 years, Sylvia Hall; five children, Cynthia, Germell, LaToya, Gloria, and Kenyatta; one daughter-in-law, Iiesha; eleven grandchildren, Denzel, Iyana, Tyshawn, Autumn, Germell Jr., Whyneti, Meloni, Jada, Jeffrey, Germell II, and Chloe; four sisters, Darlene, Rossetta, Sonya, and Joy; one brother, Clarence; a mother-in-law, three sisters-in-law, two brothers-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends. Ocie is predeceased by his parents, Ocie and Gloria, his brother, Richard and his nephew, Charles. Interment, Riverside Cemetery.
